Formed in 1955, Rotorua Bridge Club is one of the strongest bridge clubs in the region, with about 150 members ranging from novices to grandmasters.<br \/>\nThe club is situated not far from town, in Neil Hunt Park, on Tarawera Rd, just near the Te Ngae roundabout.<a href=\"http:\/\/rotoruabridgeclub.nz\/index.php\/contact-us\/\"> (See map)<\/a><\/p>\n<p><strong><a href=\"http:\/\/rotoruabridgeclub.nz\/index.php\/education\/beginners\/\">Learn Bridge<\/a><\/strong><br \/>\nIf you've never played bridge and are interested in learning, Rotorua Bridge Club runs a series of lessons each year. Visitors are always very welcome to all sessions, with the&nbsp; exception of team competitions, where it is often not possible to fit in an extra pair. If you\u2019re in Rotorua alone and would like a partner, please contact a <a href=\"http:\/\/rotoruabridgeclub.nz\/index.php\/club-info\/playing-sessions\/\">partnership steward<\/a> \u2013 we can nearly always find you someone to play with. There were 24 teams of a very high calibre taking part. Special congratulations to the handicap winners, the local team of Wendy Blackman, Suellyn Caudwell, Christine de Vries and Hilary Williams.
