On Sunday 30 July we host the Bay of Plenty Interclub Teams Competition. All going according to plan we hope to have 6 Bay of Plenty Clubs all fielding a Junior, an Intermediate and an Open team – 12 players in all. The best two teams for each grade go through to the Waikato Bays Final on Sunday 27 August. …
We had a relaxed and enjoyable bridge tournament on Wednesday. Our winners were:
Handicap Results: 1st Susan Hardy and Robert Johnston from Rotorua, who were also top overall,
2nd Eileen Barker and Anne Patching from Putaruru.
Third on handicap were Marie Milsum and Alan Dick, who were second in the raw result.
