Hooray – back to Level 1 at last! All bridge sessions will re-commence from Wednesday 23 Sep at 7pm. Please note that next week (30 Sep) the start time for Wednesday night changes to 7pm because we will be on daylight savings time. Start times for all other sessions are as per normal, so contact your partners and arrange some games.
We have received notice that the upgrade of the Tarawera Road roundabout will commence at the end of September. The plan is to remove the roundabout and construct a signalled intersection. These road works will no doubt affect travel to and from the bridge club, so please allow extra time to get to your sessions.
The Ib Thulin member-only handicap tournament has been re-scheduled for Sunday 11 Oct. Check with your partner and tick or cross off your names on the entry sheet on the tournament notice board. New entries are always welcome.
The committee thanks members again for their patience during the lockdown period. We know it has been frustrating not being able to play bridge, but the safety of our members is a primary concern.
