Club Bridge: As you will be aware, we are now in level 2 lockdown until 6 September when the government will again review the situation. Therefore, there will be no club bridge play until we move into Level 1, hopefully after 6 September.
Rotorua Restricted Tournament 12 September: On the basis we move into Level 1 we are continuing to plan for the Rotorua Restricted Tournament which is on 12 September. We need your entries which you can do on-line at NZ Bridge – www.nzbridge.co.nz. It will be fun to get back to some competitive bridge. However, given the current Covid 19 situation we also have to be prepared for this not going ahead.
Ib Thulin Tournament: Also, again looking on the positive side, we have rescheduled the Ib Thulin Tournament for Rotorua members only, for Sunday 11 October. Please put that on your calendar.
Lessons: Lessons were scheduled to start on 2 and 4 September. The start date will now be re-scheduled to the following week, provided we are in Level 1.
